Bowl Points reward you for helping the WEEKBOWL community. Earn points by favoriting recipes, leaving reviews, and submitting your own recipes.
How to earn points

| Leave a rating (no comment) | 5 |
| Leave a review with a written comment | 10 |
| Submit a recipe | 25 |
| Have your recipe approved and published | 50 |
You must be signed in to earn points. Anonymous reviews do not count toward your total.
Levels
Your level is based on your total Bowl Points:

Your current level and progress to the next tier appear at the top of your account dashboard.
Badges
Badges are milestone achievements earned at these point totals:
- Starter - 10 points
- Regular - 50 points
- Contributor - 100 points
- Enthusiast - 250 points
- Champion - 500 points
Badges appear on your dashboard and on your public profile (if enabled).
Public profile and leaderboard
In Account → Settings, you can turn on Public profile. When enabled:
- Others can visit your profile page and see your level, badges, and published recipes.
- Your point total is not shown on your profile.
- You appear on the leaderboard, ranked by points.
When your profile is private, visitors who follow a link to your profile see a simple “Private profile” message.
Tips
- Write thoughtful reviews to earn more points per review.
- Submit complete recipes with clear instructions - they go through a quick review before publishing.
- Favorite recipes you actually cook - it helps you find them later on your dashboard.
