- In a skillet, cook the shredded meat seasoned with salt and pepper to taste until fully cooked.
- Heat the black beans in a pan over medium heat until warm.
- Fry or grill the ripe bananas as per the package instructions and cut them into slices.
- Dice the tomato into small cubes and set aside.
- Preheat a grill or frying pan, and grill the corn arepas until they are golden brown on each side.
- Carefully slice the arepas open along the edge to create a pocket for filling.
- Fill each arepa with the warmed black beans, fried ripe bananas, cooked shredded meat, and chopped tomato.
- Serve with a side of pico de gallo sauce or guacamole for dipping.
