Ingredients

  • Corn Arepa Filled With Mozarella Cheese (2)
  • Shredded Meat (2000 g)
  • Black Beans (1 can)
  • Fried Ripe Bananas (1)
  • Tomato (1 chopped)
  • Pico De Gallo Sauce (1)
  • Salt (Pinch)
  • Pepper (Pinch)

Steps

  1. In a skillet, cook the shredded meat seasoned with salt and pepper to taste until fully cooked.
  2. Heat the black beans in a pan over medium heat until warm.
  3. Fry or grill the ripe bananas as per the package instructions and cut them into slices.
  4. Dice the tomato into small cubes and set aside.
  5. Preheat a grill or frying pan, and grill the corn arepas until they are golden brown on each side.
  6. Carefully slice the arepas open along the edge to create a pocket for filling.
  7. Fill each arepa with the warmed black beans, fried ripe bananas, cooked shredded meat, and chopped tomato.
  8. Serve with a side of pico de gallo sauce or guacamole for dipping.
