  • Sausages (8 large)
  • Tomato Sauce (1 jar)
  • Butter Beans (1200 g)
  • Black Treacle (1 tbsp)
  • English Mustard (1 tsp)
  • Butter (2 tbsp)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

Steps

  1. In a large casserole dish, cook 8 large sausages over medium heat until they are browned all over, which should take about 10 minutes.
  2. Pour in 1 jar of tomato sauce and mix well with the sausages.
  3. Add 1200g of butter beans, 1 tablespoon of black treacle, and 1 teaspoon of English mustard. Stir everything together.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then cover the casserole and let it cook for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with crusty bread or rice for a complete meal.
