Chocolate Caramel Crispy Squares

Ingredients

  • Mars Bars (6 chopped)
  • Butter (150g)
  • Rice Krispies (120g)
  • Milk Chocolate (150g)
  • Parchment Paper (1 sheet)

Steps

  1. Prepare a 20 x 20 cm (8" x 8") baking tin by greasing and lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a heatproof bowl, combine 6 chopped Mars Bars and 150g butter. Set the bowl over a pan of gently simmering water and stir with a whisk until melted and smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add 120g Rice Krispies and pour the melted Mars bar mixture over them. Stir well until everything is thoroughly combined.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking tin and set aside.
  5. Melt 150g milk chocolate in the microwave or over another bowl set over simmering water until smooth.
  6. Spread the melted chocolate over the rice krispie layer and let it cool in a cool place until set. Once firm, cut into squares and serve!
