Ingredients

  • Bread Rolls (1)
  • Milk (120ml)
  • Onion (1 chopped)
  • Vegetable Oil (100ml)
  • Ground Beef (500g)
  • Egg (1)
  • Garlic Clove (1)
  • Marjoram (Pinch)
  • Breadcrumbs (75g)

Instructions

Steps

  1. Soak 1 bread roll in 120ml milk until fully softened. In the meantime, sauté 1 chopped onion in 100ml vegetable oil for about 8 minutes until it becomes soft and golden. Combine the sautéed onion with 500g ground beef, 1 egg, 1 garlic clove (minced), a pinch of marjoram, and seasoning to taste. Squeeze out the excess milk from the soaked bread and add it to the beef mixture. Mix thoroughly and season well.
  2. Form the mixture into 8 patties. Place 75g breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl and coat each patty evenly. Heat some oil in a deep frying pan and fry the patties in batches for about 6-7 minutes on each side until they are browned and fully cooked.
