- Bread Rolls (1)
- Milk (120ml)
- Onion (1 chopped)
- Vegetable Oil (100ml)
- Ground Beef (500g)
- Egg (1)
- Garlic Clove (1)
- Marjoram (Pinch)
- Breadcrumbs (75g)
Instructions
Steps
- Soak 1 bread roll in 120ml milk until fully softened. In the meantime, sauté 1 chopped onion in 100ml vegetable oil for about 8 minutes until it becomes soft and golden. Combine the sautéed onion with 500g ground beef, 1 egg, 1 garlic clove (minced), a pinch of marjoram, and seasoning to taste. Squeeze out the excess milk from the soaked bread and add it to the beef mixture. Mix thoroughly and season well.
- Form the mixture into 8 patties. Place 75g breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl and coat each patty evenly. Heat some oil in a deep frying pan and fry the patties in batches for about 6-7 minutes on each side until they are browned and fully cooked.
