Steps
- Warm milk until it's lukewarm, then dissolve instant yeast in it.
- Stir in granulated sugar, cardamom, vanilla extract, and about two-thirds of the flour.
- Mix the dough by hand or with a mixer using a dough hook, gradually adding the remaining flour until it forms a manageable dough. Adjust flour as needed to prevent stickiness.
- Once a smooth ball forms, incorporate softened butter and knead for approximately ten minutes.
- Shape the dough into a cylinder and divide it into six equal portions. Roll each portion into a round bun and place them in a greased muffin or cake tin. Cover and let rise until doubled in size, which should take about an hour.
