Ingredients

  • Raw King Prawns (12)
  • Garlic Clove (3)
  • Olive Oil (100 ml)
  • Cayenne Pepper (3)
  • Parsley (1 tablespoon chopped)
  • Sea Salt (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

Steps

  1. Peel the prawns, ensuring to leave the tails on. Use a cocktail stick to remove the digestive tracts. Alternatively, leave the shells on if using a frying pan.
  2. In a flameproof terracotta pot or a frying pan, combine garlic, olive oil, and cayenne pepper over high heat. Once the garlic begins to turn golden, add the prawns and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until they turn pink.
  3. Finish by sprinkling chopped parsley and freshly cracked black pepper over the dish. Serve immediately, taking care as the pot will remain hot.
