- In a large pot, add 16 ounces of green beans and drizzle with 1/4 cup of olive oil.
- Season with a dash of salt and cover the pot with a lid.
- Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the green beans reach your desired tenderness, ideally until they start to turn brownish.
- Stir in 1 clove of minced garlic and 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro, cooking just until the cilantro wilts.
- Serve warm, either as a main dish with pita bread or as a side.
