  • Olive Oil (1/4 cup)
  • Cilantro (1/4 cup)
  • Garlic (1 clove)
  • Salt (Dash)

Instructions

Steps

  1. In a large pot, add 16 ounces of green beans and drizzle with 1/4 cup of olive oil.
  2. Season with a dash of salt and cover the pot with a lid.
  3. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the green beans reach your desired tenderness, ideally until they start to turn brownish.
  4. Stir in 1 clove of minced garlic and 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro, cooking just until the cilantro wilts.
  5. Serve warm, either as a main dish with pita bread or as a side.
