Ingredients

  • Chicken (400g)
  • Rice (1 cup)
  • Green Pepper (1)
  • Red Pepper (1)
  • Mushrooms (2)
  • Sweetcorn (1)
  • Carrots (2)
  • Raisins (Handful)
  • Turmeric (1 tsp)
  • Kabse Spice (1 tsp)
  • Salt (Pinch)
  • Black Pepper (Pinch)

Steps

  1. Begin by caramelizing chicken in some olive oil, then add a maggi cube and let it simmer for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate pot, sauté green pepper, red pepper, mushrooms, sweetcorn, and carrots until they soften.
  3. Once the vegetables are ready, mix in the rice, raisins, turmeric, and kabse spice. Pour in 2.5 cups of water to cook the rice.
  4. After the rice has cooked, combine everything in a baking dish and place it in the oven to finish cooking.
