- Begin by grinding almonds using an almond grinder or food processor until fine.
- In a large bowl, combine almonds and powdered sugar. Add three of the egg whites and mix by hand until the dough forms a ball. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour, or preferably overnight.
- Prepare the kransekake molds by greasing them well and dusting with semolina, flour, or breadcrumbs.
- Preheat your oven to 210°C (410°F).
- Divide the chilled dough into six portions. Gradually mix in the remaining egg white and knead until the dough can be rolled into sausages the thickness of your finger.
- Fill the molds with the dough sausages, pinching the ends to form rings.
- Place the filled molds on a baking sheet and bake in the center of the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops turn golden brown.
