- Potatoes (4 cups)
- Minced Beef (450 g)
- Creamed Corn (500 ml)
- Milk (½ cup)
- Butter (60 ml)
- Onion (1 finely chopped)
- Paprika (to taste)
- Parsley (to taste)

- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook potatoes until very tender. Drain the potatoes once cooked.
- Coarsely mash the potatoes with butter, then use an electric mixer to purée them with milk. Season with salt and pepper, and set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 190 °C (375 °F) with the rack in the middle position.
- In a large skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté the onion until browned. Add minced beef and cook until golden brown, seasoning with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
- In an 8-inch square baking dish, press the meat mixture evenly at the bottom. Layer with creamed corn and top with the mashed potatoes. Finish by sprinkling with paprika and parsley.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, then broil to finish cooking. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
